WHAT ARE CARDBOARD DIVIDERS?
We call them dividers, some call them egg crates, cardboard cell packaging, or partitions. They are cardboard pieces cut and slotted to make cells for parts and other items. Cardboard packaging provides protection during transit and inventory control as well as helps reduce labor costs.

WHY CARDBOARD?
Corrugated cardboard is a completely recyclable material that is easy to come by and less expensive. Labor costs can be decreased by simply dropping a part in a cell versus having to pack each part with plastic or bubble wrap. When machined parts are sent out to vendors it is safer and cheaper. This is because there will be a decrease in labor costs from simply picking or placing a part in a cell rather than the process of wrapping and unwrapping. It is better for inventory counts because there is no need for weighing or scaling parts.
